Flying the Zia for New Mexico
Team Zia Jet Racing carries the Zia — the sun symbol on New Mexico’s flag — into competitive jet racing. The team flies the L-29, the same aircraft LB AeroFlight operates for flight test and advanced flight training, and is crewed and supported by the same people.
Racing and flight test draw on the same discipline: precise flying, careful preparation, and maintenance you can trust at speed and low altitude. What the team learns on the course goes straight back into how we fly and support test missions for our customers.
